St. Gallen vs. Kickers 2-4
23.03.2026 Swiss Alpen League
St. Gallen eSports had to accept a 2–4 defeat against Stuttgarter Kickers E-Sports in a game that was more one-sided than the scoreline suggests.
Kickers started strong and took control early. In the 7th minute escmessi10x opened the scoring, before doubling the lead himself in the 29th minute with another clinical finish.
St. Gallen managed to respond shortly before halftime when Benni Bomber made it 1–2 in the 45th minute, but the answer came immediately as Domiix9 restored the two-goal lead for Stuttgart, making it 3–1 going into the break.
Right after halftime, Kickers continued their dominance. In the 48th minute Bomeirat extended the lead to 4–1 and put the game firmly out of reach.
St. Gallen showed some late fight and reduced the deficit in the 90th minute through R. Ratatouis, but it was only cosmetic.
Statistically, Stuttgart were clearly superior: 56% possession, 16 shots to 7, and an impressive 7.3 expected goals highlight how dominant their performance was. With 212 completed passes, they controlled the tempo and dictated the game throughout.
St. Gallen eSports struggled to cope with the attacking pressure and efficiency of Stuttgarter Kickers E-Sports, who deservedly secured all three points with a convincing performance.
