12.03.2026 Swiss Alpen League
CBK Helvetics secured an important 3–1 victory over Lugano eSports thanks to an outstanding individual performance.
CBK controlled the match for long stretches, finishing with 56% possession and 182 completed passes. While Lugano actually produced slightly more shots (8 to 7), CBK were far more clinical in front of goal.
The breakthrough came in the 38th minute when Darioreal6 opened the scoring after an assist from Footbroy. Just five minutes later, the same combination struck again as Darioreal6 doubled the lead in the 43rd minute.
Shortly after halftime, Lugano responded. In the 48th minute Neme1978 reduced the deficit to 2–1 after an assist from hondatheolo, briefly bringing Lugano back into the match.
However, CBK stayed calm and continued to control the rhythm of the game. In the 62nd minute Darioreal6 completed his hat-trick to restore the two-goal lead and effectively seal the victory.
It was an outstanding performance from the former FC Basel E-Sports player Darioreal6, who scored all three goals and proved decisive for CBK. The left side of CBK also played a key role, with FishPig delivering two important assists and constantly creating pressure down the flank.
After the match, Lugano manager Gioko reflected on the performance: “Good performance, we had chances, but there was one mistake moment and our psychology dropped.”
Despite the defeat, Lugano showed moments of quality and created several opportunities, but CBK’s efficiency in front of goal ultimately made the difference.
